A consular power of attorney changes everything
Most Spanish procedures require someone to appear in person. That is why people book flights for matters that could be handled remotely.
There is a better route: you sign a power of attorney at the Spanish consulate in your city, and I act for you in Spain. Because it is issued before a Spanish consul, that document is a Spanish public deed — it needs no apostille and no sworn translation. That alone saves several hundred euros and weeks of waiting compared with using a local notary.
I draft the power with exactly the authority the matter requires, so it does not fall short halfway through, which is the most common and most expensive mistake.
